Established in 2005, the ILO Client Choice Awards recognize those law firms around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. The criteria for the awards focus on law firms' ability to add real value to their clients' business above and beyond the other players in the market.

Client Choice Awards 2008

ILO, in association with the Association of Corporate Counsel, launched both the European and Global Counsel Awards to recognize those in-house legal teams and individuals that excel in their specific roles. The primary aim is to reward lawyers for demonstrable achievements across the full spectrum of in-house responsibility, and not simply those who have acted on high-profile transactions. Awards are presented across the following categories: Competition, Employment, General Commercial, Intellectual Property, Litigation, Regulatory (Financial Services), Regulatory (Non-financial Services), Pro Bono, Best Training Programme and General Counsel of the Year.
