Background

Frank Foran was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1973. He graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1972. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary in 1969. Mr. Foran was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1988.

Areas of Practice

  • Litigation, Arbitration and Administrative Law: Practice emphasizes corporate and commercial litigation (including litigation and arbitrations relating to oil and gas, electricity, banking, general commercial and construction matters) and also energy regulatory matters. Mr. Foran has appeared before all levels of Courts including the Supreme Court of Canada and before regulatory (primarily energy) tribunals.
