Background
Lindsay Holmes is a partner in our Calgary office and is the head of the tax
departement in that office. He was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1980, having
obtained his LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1979 and a B.Comm. from
the University of Calgary in 1976. Lindsay completed the Canadian Institute
of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course in 1985.
Areas of Practice
- Lindsay's practice is restricted to providing tax counsel on a broad range
of Canadian income tax matters, including acquisitions, divestures, structuring
of business transactions and projects, reorganizations, public offerings and
financings, estate planning and business succession, as well as the resolution
of disputes with federal and provincial tax authorities.
