Sébastien Gros is a senior associate in Hogan Lovells’ Paris office and a member of the Financial Institutions Group within the Corporate practice. He provides corporate and regulatory advice to financial services and insurance industry clients.
Sébastien acts on corporate and transactional matters and advises French and foreign institutions across the financial sector on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including acquisitions and disposals of assets, portfolio and business transfers, joint ventures and group reorganisations.
His expertise extends to non-transactional financial services and insurance advice to French and foreign banks, insurance/reinsurance undertakings and other market participants in relation to a wide range of legal and regulatory issues in the financial services and insurance industry.
Sébastien also has in-house counsel experience through extended client secondments, including a secondment to a leading French credit institution.
He qualified as a Rechtsanwalt (Germany) in 2002 and was admitted to the Paris bar in 2006.
