Mr Bertrand Baheu-Derras

Bertrand Baheu-Derras focuses on corporate, securities, finance, and general business law matters, including international and domestic mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and other business transactions. He is also active on matters relating to business litigation, regulatory affairs, and business contracts.

Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Bertrand Baheu-Derras completed several internships at law firms in France, a public sector company, and an intergovernmental organization, mainly in the field of civil law, commercial law, and corporate law, and on complex litigation. He conducted an internship at the French national railway company where he was principally in charge of preventing legal risks and increasing legal certainty. He was previously employed at a leading French bank where he was involved in business banking transactions. He also gained experience in Germany during his internship at the European Patent Office in the field of contract law and general legal issues.
