Christoph R. Ramstein was born in 1951. He studied law at University of Zurich (1978), earned a Masters in Business Administration at University of St. Gall (1976), served in 1978 as law clerk at the District Court of Meilen and was admitted to the bar in 1980. In 1983/1984 he worked as a foreign associate with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, New York. In 1986 he became a Partner of Pestalozzi Lachenal Patry.
