ILO Global Counsel Congress, The Grand Hyatt, New York, June 14 2012

The annual ILO Global Counsel Congress is truly global, with speakers and in-house counsel delegates attending from all over the world. The aim is to encourage the sharing of expertise and experience across borders, and to give attendees the opportunity to exchange knowledge and insight with high-profile speakers including general counsel at multinationals and regulators.

The 2012 programme is currently being developed in conjunction with an advisory board of senior international counsel. It will cover critical issues for those advising businesses internationally, including:

  • Information governance: taking control.
  • Global regulation: managing the risks.
  • Managing the global legal team: navigating uncertain times.
  • Corruption: the Bribery Act one year on.
  • Alternative legal service providers: an ethical minefield?
  • External counsel: getting value globally.
  • Knowledge management: share and share alike.
  • Work area roundtables: cross-border concerns in M&A, competition, intellectual property and employee benefits.

Other than a few carefully selected sponsors, this event is only open to in-house counsel.

ILO will apply for CLE requested by registrants for US states with CLE requirements. Approvals will be subject to the relevant bar rules and regulations.

Rooms at the conference venue, the Grand Hyatt, are available to attendees at a discounted rate. Click here to book a room.
