For companies that wish to participate in tender processes in Mexico, there are a number of regulatory provisions to consider. One of the most important is the Regulation on the Public Works and Related Services Law, which has been in force since July 29 2010. Among other things, it provides as follows:
The regulation also establishes rules on the filing and opening of proposals. It sets out the documents that a bidder must enclose in its sealed bid, as well as the requirements for delivery of the bid.
