Ingrid van Berkel has been an attorney since 1992. She is a
partner in the employment law section at Eversheds Faasen
and is based in Rotterdam. She advises Dutch and foreign
clients on various aspects of labour law and employee
representation. Ms van Berkel has a wide range of employment
law expertise with an emphasis on (international) assignments
of employees, secondment, reorganisations, mergers and
acquisitions, collective and individual dismissals, employee
representation, (international) transfers of undertakings and
flexible employment relations.
Ms van Berkel has gained extensive experience of working
in (international) multi-disciplinary teams and on industry-related
issues. Her clients are active in many different sectors. She
speaks regularly at seminars and congresses on employment
topics. She is also frequently invited to provide training on
Dutch employment law for human resources management
advisers and legal counsel with responsibility for their
companies’ operations in the Netherlands.
