Clemens Hasenauer heads the corporate transaction
department of Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati, which
specialises in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance,
private equity and takeover transactions. Mr Hasenauer is
also a member of the firm’s management committee. His
broad experience includes numerous complex public and
private M&A transactions, and he is particularly renowned
for structuring large international joint ventures and public
takeovers.
Mr Hasenauer attended Vienna University Law School,
Université Paris Descartes
(Faculty of Law, Paris V) and
the New York University School of Law.
He has authored various publications in his areas of
expertise and is a frequent speaker at seminars, in particular
on M&A and Austrian takeover law. He is also a permanent
lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Mr Hasenauer is admitted to the Austrian and the New York
State Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association
and the International Bar Association.
