Charles Hurdon has more than 20 years’ experience as an
employment and labour lawyer. He has extensive expertise
in representing and advising employers in matters relating to
executive employment agreements, executive compensation
and executive terminations, with a significant component of
his practice dedicated to representing financial institutions.
Within the field of labour law, Mr Hurdon represents
employers in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration and
human rights. Other areas of his practice include occupational
health and safety, where he assists employers in developing
health and safety programmes and provides advice and
representation in prosecutions commenced under the
Canada Labour Code and the Ontario Occupational Health
and Safety Act.
Mr Hurdon is a frequent speaker and co-chair on topical
issues and emerging trends in employment law, labour law
and occupational health and safety.
