Background:

• Sarah is very experienced in complex commercial litigation. She has acted for some of New Zealand's leading corporate as well as multinational clients who have become involved in disputes with a New Zealand focus or connection. Sarah regularly appears before the full hierarchy of courts as well as tribunals and regulatory bodies such as the Securities Commission.
• Sarah joined Russell McVeagh as a partner in 2003. She had previously been a partner at another New Zealand law firm and, prior to that, had worked for Herbert Smith in London.
• Sarah has particular interest and expertise in contractual disputes, trust law, tax litigation and companies and securities issues. Her work has spanned a wide variety of industry sectors including energy, financial services, forestry, primary industries and property.
