Dr Melek Onaran Yüksel

Dr. Melek Onaran Yüksel is a partner of DLA Piper/YükselKarkinKüçük Attorney Partnership.  She is also the head of the Employment, Pensions and Benefits department.

She specialises in all aspects of employment law. She has extensive experience in dealing with individual and collective labour law, and social security law, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters.  Melek Yüksel offers legal guidance on complex legal issues, such as those that can arise in large-scale cross border transactions or outsourcing projects, as well as challenging restructuring projects and subsequent large-scale dismissals.

Melek Onaran Yüksel provides legal advice to Turkish and international clients from diverse industry sectors. She represents clients in their dealings and disputes with employees, unions and governmental entities from various sectors, including chemicals, packaging, cosmetics, machinery, pharmaceuticals, steel, services, telecommunications and has been involved in highly leveraged transactions with cross border elements in various sectors.

She is a member of Istanbul Bar Association, Istanbul University Law School Alumni Association and Izmir American Collegiate Institute Alumni Association. She is also a registered foreign lawyer in the UK.

Dr. Yüksel was admitted to practice in 1999.
