Mr Juan Carlos Amaro Alvarado

Partner. Legal Director. Juan Carlos Amaro is attorney at Law. He graduated from the Universidad del Valle de México and obtained post-graduate degrees in Constitutional Law and IP Law at the Universidad Panamericana. Juan Carlos joined Becerril, Coca & Becerril, S.C. in 2004. He became a partner of the firm in 2010 and he is our Legal Director. He is an active member of International Trademark Association (INTA), American Intellectual Property Law Association, (AIPLA) Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Mexican Bar Association (BMA). Juan Carlos has participated in several forums on IP matters and has published several articles in different media. He focuses his practice in IP and Administrative litigation, anti-counterfeiting and Constitutional Law. He is mainly involved in representing pharmaceutical clients in patent litigation.
