His practice initially focused on infringement suits in the area of industrial property rights, especially with regard to patent and trademark law; has since become head of the trademark department of Clifford Chance Pünder; now focuses on providing advice and drafting and negotiating licensing and cooperation agreements; supervises projects concerning the transfer of rights in technology-intensive companies and in assets enjoying special legal protection (e.g., data banks); member of the firm’s team handling company acquisitions; his clients come mainly from the pharmaceutical/chemical industry or are among the suppliers of automobile parts.
