Karsten Metzlaff has long experiences with franchise systems and in particular the expansion of franchise systems into the EMEA region. Over the years he advised on the structure of a number of well-known national and international franchising systems as well as the expansion of those systems nationally and internationally. He began his career at a major German branded goods company, where he had overall responsibility for establishing its international franchise system. Karsten Metzlaff has been named as one of the leading attorneys in Germany in this field.
