Ayako graduated with an LLB/BA conjoint degree (majoring in Spanish) from Victoria University of Wellington, and was admitted to the New Zealand bar in October 2020. She has been working at Wilson Harle since March 2020. Prior to that, she worked for a sole practitioner in Wellington, with a focus on wills and estate administration, and in contracts and grants administration in the public sector.
