The new Insurance and Bonding Law (published on December 19 2014), which implements the Solvency II requirements in Mexico, came into effect on April 4 2015, along with the new Sole Regulation on Insurance and Bonding.

Although the National Insurance and Bonds Commission (CNSF) has announced that some of the quantitative aspects of the new law and regulations will gradually come into effect through 2015, insurers must now comply with the new requirement to file periodic regulatory reports using certain forms and templates, which consolidate information that was previously submitted to the CNSF through individual reports.

The new periodic regulatory reports and respective filing dates are set out in the table below.
