The Patent Institute recently amended the monthly publication of trademark applications for third-party oppositions to twice a month.

The change was introduced in 2015 when the Patent Institute first decided to stop publishing its trademark bulletin and gazette in print and instead to distribute them in CD format. From the start of 2016, the Patent Institute ceased issuing CD format publications. Instead, trademark application information is now published online on a twice-monthly basis. The e-bulletin facility is available on the Patent Institute's website, but only in Turkish.

The online publication of trademark applications in the twice-monthly e-bulletin means that there are now two monthly opposition periods; applicants used to one opposition deadline in the middle of each month will need to make allowances for an additional opposition deadline at the end of each month.
