Record haul of counterfeit goods seized

Trademark Office trials online system

From September 13 to 19 2015 several trademark agents had the opportunity to beta test the Trademark Office's new online system by filing a limited number of trademark applications and renewals. The Trademark Office welcomed feedback on the system so that final tweaks can be made before implementation.

It is not yet known when the new system will be ready for launch. However, both the new system and the Trademark Office's initiative to beta test it are to be applauded.
