On September 26 2012 the National Agency for Water Transportation (ANTAQ) published Resolution 2650, which establishes a procedure for environmental management monitoring and control in port facilities.
The monitoring will be carried out through the following tools:
The companies in charge of port facilities must submit data reports in relation to the first two tools on a semi-annual basis, and in relation to the third tool on a quarterly basis. ANTAQ will make this information available to the public, as established by the Access to Information Act (12.527/2011).
