The economic fallout from the COVID-19 crisis is the main issue facing the Israeli aviation industry in 2020. Temporary amendments to the Aviation Service Law were recently presented to Parliament to help airlines deal with customer compensation claims during the pandemic, while industry players are also in discussions with the Ministry of Finance about possible government assistance.
